Ever think about why men and women so often can't understand each other and why so many day-to-day conversations turn in to fights? Check out this article to learn why.
I have no problem understanding women or men. People need to stop talking to women like they are are different from people.
As Hertha said, he obviously provoked her. I've seen that exact same emotional response from both men and women when talking about politics. It's a heated topic. As men, it is critically important you understand this fundamental principle: women are incapable of keeping emotion out of the equation
That quote from the article should be changed to:
As people, it is critically important you understand this fundamental principle: people are incapable of keeping emotion out of the equation when you trigger an emotional response
I agree with you whole heartedly. The author constantly tries to undermine her opinion because he believes she is parroting the mass media. Not giving her any credit to her own thoughts is being condescending. If someone were to speak to me that way I would also become emotional. I am a man and I often find myself becoming more emotional than I should in arguments and know women that can maintain their composure better than myself. The author is just a terrible person with a major superiority complex.
if you're unable to control your emotions more than a woman, you're essentially still a child. time to grow up and be a man.
Thank you sir, I just felt like he'd never challenge men this way, considering her inferior from the start. If you only question women, it's not hard to get to the authors point of view. In addition I think her arguments are solid enough to build a statement irrespective of the source.
nothing crazy about dating a hot, young woman. and the article never surmises that only women get emotional. it simply states women are unable to keep emotion out of the conversation, whereas a man can control his emotions and maintain a rational (logical) state of mind more easily.
just found hubski, actually. thought it would be good to give it a try since I heard it was for intelligent conversation. not yet convinced that's the case.
What? No. I rarely think about why men and women disagree, and this is one of the most blatantly misogynistic things I've ever read. Subjective anecdotes don't just explain supposed "issues" we face, either. I think about why people and OTHER people disagree, but it has nothing to do with their gender. Ridiculous.
