i have been a really polite person, but yes that means smiling and laughing if pepole treat you like shit, which is lying. I have been polite until the age of 12, but as I encountered it people get it wrong all the time, mistaking your politness as invitation for harming you. Eventually I stopped, became the opposite. I've walked up to people to tell them I don't like them. this article motivates me to reintroduce a little fake politness. it certainly has its upps

Thanks for the additional insight. I find the last part of your comment troubling. There will always be a minority group trying to shove their oppinion down everyone else's throat, the real problem is the system, that let's them. The sole purpose of a state is to better the inhabitents lifes. If a government fails to protect from AUL etc, the government has failed.

Had to Google those. So the Philippines? Out of curiosity, how comfortable do you feel in those languages, and assuming you learned them pretty much simultaneously do you feel it's hard to distinguish between them?

maths count, as well as any kind of programming. I had to learn Latin und ancient Greek aswell, but there so far of from any modern thinking pattern, and also too obsolete to find a way into my active vocabulary.

Native German, learned english (more a learning by doing kind, it's not correct but not bothersome), spanish and now french. Worst are collocations, I tend to mess those up.
