Does anyone actually look at hubski and think it looks like a reddit clone at first glance?

I stuck around due to the opposite impression. Voat.co is the reddit clone, Snapzu is interesting in the way they are almost copying Hubski and the chan boards are their own little universe.

Will be interesting to see if a critical mass of reddit people scatter about.

No clue what they mean by that. To me, its very different from Reddit. Voat is clearly a clone of Reddit but Hubski's functionality is wildly different from reddit. Also, it looks 10x better.

Yeah, that sentence stuck out to me too.

I go the Voat when I crave something like Reddit, I go to Hubski when I crave something different. Simple as that.

I came here originally because I thought it was a reddit clone. After spending some time here, though, it's clear that it's not.

When I first saw Hubski, it didn't really remind me of reddit at all. It looked like another site as it didn't try to copy the subreddit formula. Also when I first looked at the content that was being submitted, I could quickly tell there was a more serious tone to Hubski.
