The Vincent would be lovely, wouldn't it?

The main problem I've discovered with owning a 1-in-7 Italian exotic is it starts to make the acquisition of other exotics seem reasonable. The parts to keep my bike running come from Maniac Motors in Nuremberg. They service Benelli, MV Agusta, Moto Morini, Bimota and Vyrus.

There's a Delirio on eBay at the moment, just down in San Diego. Do I need a Ducati Monster with delusions of grandeur? No. No I do not. Do I want one?

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmaybe.

I'm loosely acquainted with the guy who owns both the decker and the vincent... I'd say the decker is his daily driver... but that's not really fair to the vincent which he rides when it's not in a museum show. They are both ridiculously beautiful and valuable bikes. He's a super down to earth dude who shrugs off riding a 100k motorbike like "what else would I do with em?". I got to sit on the decker (the lightning was in a show that week) but I didn't dare ask to ride... we're not that close.

That Duc is gorgeous... but yours isn't too shabby either. You've posted pics before, and almost every time, I'm spending the afternoon cleaning the drool off my keyboard.

Also - ecib! I know you're more of a sportster dude... but I thought I'd call you in to this discussion.

(and I may start using the term "call-in" rather than "call-out" for when I @ someone... I use it when I want them IN the discussion... hmmm.. now where was that post about the hubski dictionary....)

The duc is actually a Bimota, which is about the only way I'd own a Ducati (Ducati being italian for "Harley"). And yes. The Benelli was an irrational decision backed by about six weeks of rationalization. I don't regret a minute of it.
