I feel like by the end of the second season of True Detectiv, this song was actually rather appropriate for the plotline and its eventual conclusion. That's about as much as I can say without spoiling anything. Anyways, it's a pretty cool song in general. It was odd to me at first, but I enjoy what's more a poetic reading than actual singing in this song.
True Detective season finale tonight! A NOTE ON S02E07: Paul :(
I thought the end was good. Many people didn't like it, because it was about corruption, not just pedophilia and serial killers. The dialog was too clunky, and it had too many plot lines for people to guess the ending.
The first season was really nice philosophically and excellent television. I was pretty shaken up afterwords. The pagan sets were way too beautiful, to be made by evil people. I don't normally like anything, but fantasy and sci-fi. I don't like TV or novels set in this time, because the crimes are unrealistic, and most TV or writing about this time, pretends that everyone lives in huge houses and have everything. I am glad it was less horror and more noir. I have taken too much acid to even watch a scary movie trailer anymore. I used to love scary movies as a kid. Now I can psyche myself out that there is something in my room. I use a lot of sage. I cried at the line about how people died for the story and no one read it, more than characters dying. I really enjoyed ~Franks hallucinations. People were left out in the desert all the time in Tucson. Though the Sonoran is more survivable, than the Mojave. How do I make more spoiler tags work?
