No worries, I filtered you because of it but if anything that's made your posts/comments stand out more and whenever I've seen your name I've stopped and read what you've said and it's not stopped me from re-sharing them when I have thought them valuable contributions. I think the problem with muting and blocking is it leaves little recourse to make up, and in this instance I would say that it was far too strong a measure as those comments seemed to be made out of character and, as you said, in a testy mood. Edit: You're unfiltered now friend :)
I'm glad it worked out between you two in this thread. I've also had a fair amount of success PMing the person who has muted me in the past. Filter might be a little different... mk and team, is there a way to know when you're filtered? "You are filtered here" or something? Probably more trouble than it's worth. Just a thought.I think the problem with muting and blocking is it leaves little recourse to make up
Since filtering doesn't affect the filtered person's use of the site, I don't think it is necessary. Filtering can be used for benign reasons, and I think displaying it would change that. Hush is similar. As mute (and block) does affect a person's interactions. I think it is best to make it clear.
Thank you. I really do appreciate the kindness and feedback.
