I find this frustrating. As an engineer I think the reason we don't do more to address climate change isn't technology or economics but is due to politics and lack of will. Nobody is willing to concede points, so inertia wins out and we keep adding pollution at record rates. I'd like to see a polar bear some day. From a nice safe distance.
It's due to politics and money. It's an interesting thing when people call politicians stupid for saying global warming isn't true. See they know it's the truth that the planet is moving closer and closer to it's death, but the money being funneled into their campaign accounts just keeps them from passing meaningful legislation on the subject. It's honestly a disgusting practice, but it is how the government has worked for so long. The thing I'm most terrified about is that a collective effort won't be made until it is too late.
