Not all that comparable to Chopin but I love this kind of presentation of of musicianship and composition. James may not have had the best chops (great chops but not a god of bass technique) but he was one of the most melodic members of a rhythm section I've ever heard. I love to watch what he played in this format.
Man, I love these. For AP European history we had a final project in the awkward final month after the AP test (not like we could keep going forward in history, you know?) we did had one last big project. I did mine with Stravinsky's Rite of Spring, a movement by movement analysis mixed with historical background and innovations. The graphical representation of it was a huge help. I had a complete score, but the graphics really made it so much easier to understand the relationships of the pitches, and keep track of the music with the score. Malinowski is a wonderful artist, and a quality composer in his own right.
