Statement from the Boston Bruins: "The Bruins are very disappointed by the racist comments that were made following the game last night. These classless, ignorant views are in no way a reflection of anyone associated with the Bruins organization."

Glad the B's posted that. cgod, I am surprised to see this, shocked really [edit] -(I'm shocked to see it in general, not on Hubski). I don't know anyone that would ever do anything like this, so I guess I'm a bit insulated. Many of them appear to be pretty young. My guess is that as they get older, they will regret such things. Reminds me of the Violent Femmes lyric, "I hope you know that this will go down on your permanent record"...
Unfortunately, there will never be a shortage of A-holes in the world.

I do think the one slightly positive thing that keeps arising when idiots like these decide to post their nonsense publicly, is that rational people are exposed to this type of ignorance when they normally otherwise wouldn't be. Just a little reminder that we still have a ways to go, but at least we're moving in the right direction. Sort of a depressing upside though.

That's a good point. It would be nice if people like this had to walk around with a big "R" on their chest, letting us know they are racists. That way we can all avoid them, or engage them from an informed standpoint. -I'm kidding, I really don't think branding peoples is a good idea....but if any assclowns deserve it, it's these guys.

I wish each one of these tools had to lace up some skates and face Joel Ward at center ice to drop gloves. I have a feeling they'd be less brazen with their idiotic hatred.
