Well I'm thinking with the new generation that considers my religion "just a silly thing" and become believers, maybe some people will become actual believers, which in turn pressures non believers to believe because they have all these people (whether they're joking or not) to become part of the religion. Seems like something that could actually work, you know
It's possible to do that. It happens all the time, but those aren't necessarily religions. I think I would more aptly describe those as cults. Religion is reserved more for the large accepted organizations that we know today: Christianity, Judaism, Muslim, Hinduism, etc. If your aim is a cult, those are usually simpler in design.
