If I have a child, it shall be named McGeorge. My wife will let me call a son by that name, I believe, but she hasn't yet decided it would work for a girl. She will.

According to the article, it would work 5X better for a girl.

Anyone out there on Hubski that is keeping tally of b_b's premarital assumptions, feel free to start a new column to your excel file titled b_b's pre-children assumptions. Your kids name will not be McGeorge. I'll bet you $20. You will likely name it after aunt ____face or uncle ____breath.

If Frank Zappa could resist the pressure, b_b can too. I'm rooting for you, b_b.

Zappa is my main inspiration here. He put his foot down about naming rights, and I'm doing the same.

Little Dweasel and Moon Unit B___er. -nice. Two things: 1. I am rooting for you. 2. Why McGeorge?

1. Thanks

2. I came across it a while back while doing some Cold War reading. McGeorge Bundy was kennedy's national security advisor. When I first heard of him I thought that was the waspiest, funniest, power name I had ever heard, and I fell in love. I think humor is fair game when choosing a child name.
