As for students, I think it depends on how much they are working and how much they need to be studying. However, I think it's important for young people to learn to balance work and life. They don't have much of "life "outside of schooling at that age so, yeah. Get a job hippy. For many people there will come a time when they have a family to balance, a job to balance, friendships to nurture and hobbies to pursuit. So having those two things in college or in high school it's a good primer for what is to come. I worked too much in college, but I had to support myself almost entirely. That said, it set me up for some success in life. I'm grateful that I wasn't given everything and had to work. -I didn't see it that way at the time though, but it was a good thing for me.Interesting choice of inspiration there.
