Also I'd really appreciate it if ya'll could let me know if it doesn't run/runs strangely. Still a few dumb bugs to squash.
Howdy and welcome to Hubski! I was in an Apple store when I first saw this post last night and had some fun passing time with it while my roommate's phone was getting fixed. Didn't have enough time to power through the whole game, but loved how polished it was. I only just realized playing through it a bit at home that the spacebar didn't work as a pause button when I was tinkering with it on Safari. Don't have much else to add, though it has been quite a long time since I've seen/played with browser games. Where do y'all plan to go with it after? In other words, do you plan on making more and if so, where are you looking to get them played? Great job and good luck!
Hey, thanks for playing :) I'll look into the spacebar thing. One of the downsides to webdev and being poor is not being able to test on every device, haha. One day! To answer your questions, we (2-person team) will be making even smaller webgames in the future (rotopo plus its engine took us around 6 months), hoping something sticks for long enough to power us through making a webgame that isn't so traditionally attritional and casual. As for where they get played, anywhere would be great. There's (obviously) the game's homepage but we're always looking to get featured on any of those webgame aggregator sites too.
Ah, completely understand. Good thing I saw it on the Mac store then. Also, had some fun playing with it last night. Made enough gimbles to buy a skin. In fact, it set me back down to 10k after logging in. User: Google(5989). Attempting to buy a skin, I kept receiving the error message I didn't have enough gimbles. Best of luck landing on one of those sites. Are you looking to stay away from ads as side revenue at the moment (either built into the webpage or in the game itself)?
