I love the first track, "Normal American Kids," and "Ever Was a Child"
Solid album that I look forward to digging in to.
I can't comment on this album yet, I haven't had an opportunity to really listen. I'm flying tomorrow and will dig in then. That said, the two tracks I mention in the post really resonate with me. A lot. They are one of those bands that always have a few songs, or more, on each album that i really relate to. Other bands will have songs that I enjoy, but that I don't relate to. There's a difference. Keep in mind that I'm definitely more closely aligned, generationally, with them so perhaps that's a factor. I don't know... They are a band that I feel like I'm growing alongside. It's pretty neat. I enjoyed Star Wars too. That said, one of my favorite albums of the last few years was Tweedy. I'll have more to say about Schmilco after tomorrow. I'm excited to listen, uninterrupted. Definitely not a fan of the title of the album though. Before I knew people could die just becuase

This is your favorite band, am I right? I love the name of album. I heard a track on the radio, and it was a bitchin' good tune for cruisin' along. I'll have to listen through to find it.
Yeah, I love their music. The only band that has had more influence on me has been the Beatles. Without the Beatles I wouldn't have ever become a musician and written songs. Without Wilco I would have never recorded albums. Love them for that.
