You ought to, it really is a remarkable film. The acting is superb and the arc of the film is just right. The "old man" is a bad ass. There are so many valuable lessons in the film that I can see why it is used in high school civics classes across the country.
The writer that adapted it for the screenplay Reginald Rose was nominated for an Oscar but lost to Pierre Boulle, Carl Foreman and Michael Wilson for the Film "Bridge on the River Kwai". I've never seen that movie, have you?

Bridge on the River Kwai is a great movie it deserved the win.

Alright, as the person that set up the inaugural Film club with help from JakobVirgil's movie suggestion, I'll pass the baton to you b_b, unless anyone has any objections? Sounds like a great idea for a topic/selection.
