Glad you're having a good holiday! All the best. The other holiday song is, uh, real short. It's weirdly one of my favorite songs that I've ever done, despite being 26 seconds long. If I ever make more music under the Hot Without Glasses name, it'll sound like that. I'll throw up some lyrics soon! I mumble a lot, so I tend to do that too ;) Good question! The answer is both. There's basically three vocal groups: the main vocal, which is singing all the time; two backing melody tracks, which are singing the same thing as the main vocal, but not all the time; and finally, some backing vocals that are all singing different harmonies. In that particular line, there's the main vocals and the backing vocals. There's also a synth line being played that is using my vocals as a sample, so that might be what you're hearing there - has a similar sonic quality, and is playing at pretty much the same time.
Hope your holiday is good as well! Aw hell yeah, looking forward to the lyrics. Ah-ha. So I guess a little bit of both, in the end. It reminds me of how guitarists would harmonize with a singer's voice juuust right. Real neat to hear that come through over digital media. In that particular line, there's the main vocals and the backing vocals.
