thank god
Maybe not at fault in a legal sense but it doesn't sound like it performed well.
huh weird it looks like uber is basically lying, so apparently i'm wrong. will delete this edit: actually i'll leave it up because i've been reading interesting things about the likelihood that uber's self-driving tech is much worse than that of other companies. since uber has been in the game for about two years tops, and have already moved ahead of other industry leaders in terms of real-life testing. that seems overconfident and worth discussing.
It sound like, as a legal matter Uber will not be found at fault. I'm sure there will be a civil case and it's anyone's guess how that shakes out. Can this hurt Ubers reputation? I don't know if Ubers reputation can go lower but hell you took their credit card so people still trust them to some extent.
I thought Arizona was a partial fault state so uber would be at fault but it’s a matter of percentages. It’s unlikely that there would be criminal charges though but it would be really hard to find anyone criminally negligent unless the driver was texting or something
Are you being sarcastic? Local authorities had not come to any conclusions about who is at fault
as an aside, i got an uber credit card because the benefits are damn good for an all-purpose no-fee card. better than what i had before, for that niche. i assume it's a data thing. i enjoy spewing my data out into the world, since i may never have kids. it's the next best thing.
That is a pretty good credit card offer. Barclays is wooing Yankees; their 1.5% rate on savings was enough to get me to finally switch from the account that was paying lunch money once a year.
