Emotional couple of days for me. My father gave me my Oma's accordion. It's the only thing I wanted of hers. It's incredible. I couldn't play it tonight, though I plan to play it often and I look forward to sharing what I create on it with you all.
Tonight, I had time to record a live track of me looping. This is a single track. It's all over the place. But damn... it's fun.
My Oma used to always tell me about a time that she took me to a hill in Brighton commonly called "The U Hill," but our family called it "Scenic Site." When we got to the top, I outstretched my arms to the world and said to her, "Oma, I can see the whole world from here."
She told me this story often.
I sure miss her. I don't think I have ever been as sad as I've been these past couple of months.
I look forward to playing that accordion.
For anyone that listened to this silliness that I just posted. I apologize. :)
steve lil Hockey was played. But it's hockey that may not be worth your time :)
Onward!
