A few blocks from me a homeowner put up signs that say, “begin dancing zone,” and then “end dancing zone, on their stretch of sidewalk. They’re continuously playing funk music. It’s the little gestures of creativity and positivity that are helping. I get the sense that Dave, if presented with my neighbors sidewalk might just get funky.

KB, by the way, this particular subspecies of Orca is especially endangered because (1) they are so buoyant that they have great difficulty getting below the surface of the water to feed and (2) sharp bits of plastic floating in the water pose a constant threat.
