How goes it pal? You a bee-keeping, beer maker? How'd it turn out??
Two days ago I bottled this batch and made another, a porter this time. Pitched the porter to the lees of this batch, which always results in a rockin' fermentation (lost a liter or two to blow-off - the fermentation gets so active it foams out of the carboy). Should be a good one too. I've got almost all the hive gear I need. No bees yet, but I'm hoping to catch a swarm sometime before spring is over. Not sure if I'll be able to do that or not, what with finding a new job and visiting relatives, but still keen to get a colony going if possible.
