This site (http://tinyurl.com/3sd29jy) has an article from January which shows the chalk art the end of the video, but without the Oscar statue on the fireplace. When Robbo goes to visit the wall in the film, only the scene with the cops passing by show him and it in the same shot. It's a little blurry, but you can see the Oscar statue already there. So Robbo didn't put it there, and it wasn't there originally.
Who put it there, and, more importantly, why?
Awesome doc. Good to see the graffiti turning to impressive art from both of the people in this video. I quite liked the war on each others pieces, very entertaining for an outsider.
The large freehand portrait of the actress by Robbo showed he's more than the average tagger. Get well soon Robbo. Keep putting up the stencil art Banksy.

"Exit Through The Gift Shop" is a very good film and it's absolutely hilarious and absurd.

"robbo's piece had been up since the 80's, it was an institution". -Bullshit. They constantly show Robbo's piece when it was all new and pristine. Only once do they show it just prior to banksy's work and it was hardly legible any more.
Team Banksy!

I think the point that they were trying to make was that Banksy used Robbo's old piece in the new piece. Also, other artists tagging over the old piece is standard, the impressive part was that no one had completely painted over the piece before Banksy.
