I'm personally very used to seeing it there, thanks to Reddit, so I find it very convenient for me, personally, to use this extension. It makes the initialization of the webpage quite laggy, because I'm using a regex on the webpage where the zoom is.
I would have no other idea of how to check the time, so I'm afraid it'll stay laggy like this for now.
i developed a clone of your extension using hubski's included jquery. it's asynchronous and does not freeze the page while it runs. http://ompldr.org/vaDB3YQ/hubski_time.user.js also, i learned that hubski's markup is horribly unsemantic.
Seems like you're on your way to create a nice HES. Good luck!
Love it, and it integrates so well; installed.
Not up front like in this script. Obviously, it would be easy to do, but it's a conscious design decision. Although it is helpful at times to know the time of the post, much of the time it is inconsequential. IMO there are some negatives that come with stressing timeliness that can alter the nature of a place. Also, I think the whole world has become a bit too obsessed with timeliness. :) For that reason, the time is there for reference, but not featured. That said, I tried out the script and it looks nice. Baladas do you intend to keep that link active? If so, I'd be happy to add it to our tools page.
Yeah, I'm keeping it up. Sounds good! However, when someone comes along with a better programmed script (faster) then I suppose it'll be better to replace it with that.
