Peerblock doesn't prevent them from seeing your activity, it simply prevents them from talking directly to you. You'll still be announced in torrent swarms, show up in server logs, and so on.

And of course there's no rule that some actor intent on surveying your activity must restrict themselves to the public IP addresses of the organizations designated as troublemakers by the peerblock maintainers.

In practice it's useless, and only provides a false sense of security.

I use it as a tool to block others in unsecured places. My ip is never my real ip so the fact that it shows on server logs doesn't bother me.
