I'm a slight shoegaze and postrock fan, and I found M B V incredibly disappointing. The immense hype from MBV fans might have contributed to my unmet expectations, but I was left entirely underwhelmed. Not a single song seemed to have any dynamic range or musical progression. Each track was just 5-6 minutes of distorted meh.
Yeah, it all depends wether you like shoegaze or not. But yeah check it out it may become a big deal since its their first album in like 20 years. Yeah totally underachievers have good beats, good flow, and good rhymes. I have been listening a lot right now.
