Great book too. But for my money, the best Eddie Vedder soundtrack song is The Long Road because it features the amazing Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan -Check out the second link. He's a bad ass.

This is wonderful. Wow.

I'm at work playing it out loud because who cares, it's 7:30 -- someone just looked over at me and said, "Is this for ... school or pleasure?" I said, "Pleasure's a good word for it."

I'm glad you're enjoying it. Nusrat has an awesome story. He was a Doctor in Pakistan but felt the calling to become a qawwali singer. He left medicine and pursued singing. He took no credit for his creativity but rather, said that God sang through him. -normally I'm skeptical if such claims, but with Nusrat, I'm almost a believer. -What a talent.

If only Joan of Arc had felt the overwhelming need to become a musician.

His band ain't too bad, either. Did you see Almost Famous? That was all Mike McCready (the originals anyway, obviously there were a lot of other songs, too), and it was awesome.

I like McCready, Stone's a goofball, but I didn't realize that he did the music. I'll revisit it, thanks.
