To add to this, a lot of the people "leaving" Reddit aren't actually leaving Reddit, just making Hubskis. And a lot of them spent all their time on Reddit bitching about Reddit anyway. It's certainly not a symptom of Reddit's decline. I get that it has a pretty significant impact on such a small community, but it's nothing surprising.
