It's always nice to meet someone who's played the viola! I think it's one of the most underrated instruments in an orchestra, to be honest. But hey, I'm a bit biased. And I have to agree about the cello - its sound is so rich. I often get chills listening to it. Have you ever tried playing the cello? Playing the viola gives a bit of an edge when learning it, since they share the same order of strings.
I'm partial to playing Town of Salem in-browser. It's a web-based take on the game of Mafia and/or Werewolf (depending on the game-mode you choose). If you've never played something like this before, this is a description straight from their webpage where you can also find the game (http://www.blankmediagames.com):
Warning: In a game based on lying and deception, people can get rather salty. A similar site is https://epicmafia.com/. It's more text-based, but has a greater amount of roles and customization to be played around with.Town of Salem is a browser-based game that challenges players on their ability to convincingly lie as well as detect when other players are lying. The game ranges from 7 to 15 players. These players are randomly divided into alignments - Town, Mafia, Serial Killers, Arsonists and Neutrals. If you are a Town member (the good guys) you must track down the Mafia and other villains before they kill you. The catch? You don't know who is a Town member and who is a villain. If you are an evil role, such as a Serial Killer, you secretly murder town members in the veil of night and try to avoid getting caught.
Hey galen! I'm a student focusing on medical microbiology with a minor in German. On a far spectrum from science, I work as a radio host/personality with a live midday show. I read more than I should, and I buy books even more than I do that. I have a gnarly collection of over 300 books of all sorts, so I'm always looking for reading recommendations and stuff like that. I love to play the viola (my biggest love), piano, cello, and violin. I game as well, but on my old-as-Methuselah PS3. RPG games are my jam, and I can dig some strategic games and shooters as well.
