The only people I know in highschool who are pursuing the arts are viewed by everyone else as deadbeats. One of them even got into an incredibly prestigious school in boston and they are still viewed like that. There's something wrong with that.
This is one of the coolest things hubski has taught me.
"It is clear from a simple inspection of these two figures that the amount of gold coinage Smaug withdrew from circulation represents a significant volume of currency. This would, inevitably, lead to deflation and depressed economic activity." Wouldn't the value of each gold coin rise rather than deflate total economic activity?
This is by far the best web design I have ever seen, let alone the best article design I have ever seen. I don't even know what else I could say beyond that.
I always found people who tout diversity as a good thing as juvenile, like they were doing it just because they dont want to be labeled racist.
If the US capitol looked like it does here I don't think it would be on the dollar, its not nearly as unique or easily identifiable.
Really I just go to places like Hubski. Large sources like NPR and BBC never interested me. They all maintain the feeling that they are just in it for the views.
Sadly, I just abandoned my bass guitar.
I don't know if this is the right place to type this out but I haven't really articulated it yet and I've been looking for an opportunity, so yeah. I seem to have trouble finishing video games. This issue comes up entirely too often since I am constantly yearning to beat the games that I really loved. But I never will and I'm very mad at myself for this. Rather than enjoy the games I have, I search for new experiences, toy with them, then throw them to the side in search of newer experiences. I have piles of partially played games that I swore I would finish. Maybe this speaks to my personality. I always tend to see the people who are finishing games as more passionate and driven people. Whilst me and my friends who act the same as I do with games are usually the lazy ones. I'm too high to proofread, sorry.
I am a white, suburban, highschooler from new england. People tend to describe us as pot smoking rich people, I'd say that's fairly accurate
Ive seen this same additude expressed by plenty of people on hubski and I find it really disappointing. I would rather see the good parts of reddit translate over rather than exclude useful features in the name of pride.
I can't seem to find it again, but there's an old man who runs a little museum of all his things, its incredible to meet this man and see his entire lifes worth of "things".
Although it is true that Christmas has been secularized, I don't think it is due to the replacement of jesus. But rather the distaste for Christianity that the country is developing as a whole. Sants is a totally different figure, not a replacement.
I cant tell whether the fruit at the end is a painting or real life. I want some fruit./..
