for me, google is about getting to what i want quickly. it works for me because 99.9% of the time, what i want is the top result. the reality is that discovery and creativity aren't going to be found by a machine, that's what places like this (and more importantly, the real world) are for. just my two cents...

the original is great, but for some reason i always come back to the car one. its so gritty and the emotion of the song seems to come out at me more. both are good though!

i you like that kind of content, but feel like some of it is too difficult (i sure as hell do), i highly suggest bill bryson's A Complete History of Nearly Everything. It lightly covers a myriad of topics, including cosmology. It's a great book, highly readable and entertaining!
