Saw this on FB yesterday - Ali, dodging 21 blows in 10 seconds or something like that. The man had mad skills.
The man sure had charisma, swagger and uber confidence. I've "stuck" this post to my feed so I can watch it later tonight. I'm looking forward to it, thanks cgod.
Did he just call Mohammed Ali a dumb nigger? Wow, times have changed. Man, he really is an entertainer as much as he is an athlete, isn't he. His defense of Joe Bugner was really cool to hear. A very smart man, an artist. Great interview thus far, thanks. Do you still follow boxing closely? I have no idea what's going on in the world of boxing. Is it an interesting time? Any boxers at the heavyweight level that are worth following?
The heavyweight division is pretty dull especially in the U.S. The division is dominated by a pair of Ukrainian brothers who stand at about six and a half feet and weight between 240-250 real big boys who are in some of the best shape you've ever seen a fighter. The fight in the slowest defensive style you've ever seen, very boring. I am a fan of Mexican American fighter (an unheard of combination in a heavyweight) Chris Arreola. He isn't amazingly skilled, nor exceptionally gifted physically but he got a more heart in the ring than any other fighter I can think of.
