Badged and 'retweeted' (on my instagram feed @dr_durp). This is the awesomest thing I've ever seen in my entire life, and I hope it's not satire (in which case it would still be awesome, but just a bit less so).

I can see a whole market around this already. 3D print your fetus, scale it down a bit, wear it as a brooch. Or you could go all Flava Flav on it and wear it 1 to 1.

I was given one of these on my birthday a while back.

I am ashamed of myself, and everyone else that has participated in this thread. :)

Flava Babe?

In all seriousness the amount of absolutely batshit things that are going to come out because of 3D printing are just as exciting as the revolutionary things that will as well. This one just happens to fall into the uncanny valley, and I imagine many others will soon as well.

I was thinking of some beautiful, timeless and classy, dangly earrings.

How about pooling the 3D images of an extended family? I can see so many good times. Family members arguing over who gets to play with the "Family Fetus Chess Set" first.

fetus earrings were a thing for a while
