I've been working on a map of the Highways of the Netherlands, and finished it off yesterday. One of the blogs I read everything of is Transitmaps, and he made a US Interstate map subway-style, which was my inspiration. I decided to tweet my map at him, and he not only retweeted it but also made a post about it on his blog. Besides that it's third in r/mapporn and first in r/thenetherlands. This embodies how I feel quite well.
I'm quite proud of myself and since nobody IRL knows of my site & twitter I thought I'd share it here.
Also, I think this is a great start to actually using my twitter (@veenspace), so if you're interested in planning and infrastructure and me, I could use some followers!
And to not make this entirely about me (sorry for that), what have you done this week that makes you proud?
The stars aligned. Yeah, I remember posting that, I'd never have guessed to be featured. Also insomniasexx and you, thanks for following me on twitter, it means a lot to me! Are there many hubskiers active on twitter? You posted his tumblr not long ago, weird coincidence I decided to check it again tonight.
There is this thread: http://hubski.com/pub?id=114054 I know refugee (broganat0r) and a few others have twitter accounts. https://twitter.com/currlyfingers (louderwords)

Man, I used to, until I got legit twitter stalked...that was not a fun time. Twitter can be massively bad for productivity, especially because I'm the type of person who has to read every article in my RSS feed to make the little notification icon go away. It's more of a summer thing for me.
I love these kinds of maps. This looks great, it's nice and clean without losing an aesthetic. Also, I'm now following you on twitter. This week I've finished another chiptune song, unfortunately I'm not ready to share it though.
Tagged #design, because this is clean as all get out. Unfortunately that erased the original content tag -- mk, I don't think there's currently a way to tell if a post with two tags has two OP tags or one OP tag and one community ... which is an issue if I want to add a third tag. I kinda think the tag system in general could use some changes.
