CATHOLIC transubstantiation literally holds that the wine in your cup is the blood of Jesus.

FTFY. Us who were raised in the subtly saner Anglican church would never argue such nonsense as transubstantiation.

I almost edited it before posting for more specificity but I didn't bother. Of course b_b has to come in and get all technical on my ass. They're still Christian though :p

Huge jag, that b_b. I'm a non-believer anyway, so I suppose it doesn't matter to me. Being forcibly raised in what is, essentially, the Church of England (even the American iteration of it), one develops a huge superiority complex over the mainland Europe religions (especially Catholicism, even though our sect was just lifted from the Catholics to begin with). It's not my fault; it's my upbringing!

No, no man. That's cool. You have a huge superiority complex informed by and projected towards various ethos, none of which you subscribe to. I get it :)

I feel like finally someone understands me. This is a good day.

B_b would never allow for someone to try and maintain that the Catholics were any less insane then they actually are. Anglicans though…
