I don't have one. Maybe because I've never owned a dog that wasn't a mutt. This is my dog: His mother is the most beautiful dog I have ever seen and his father is one of the ugliest dogs I've ever seen. His mother looks like a mini husky with a bright red stripe running down her back and these piercing blue eyes. His father looks like someone went into a barbershop, swept up all the dark hair into a four foot long by 8 inch pile, which then stood up and walked out the door. I guess I like mutts the best.
I have a feeling this is how people will describe my children's parents :) My favorite breed are Vizsla's. Here's my boy Hemingway. I miss him every day. 
Heh, be kind to yourself . . . people may someday say that one of your kids favors you more than your wife, in terms of looks. Tough road with dogs. They're built for friendship in the here and now and that as we know, isn't forever. Missing someone or something is good. It means our relationship was important., even if it was shorter than we might have liked.
