It mars the beauty of the interface. You have 3 (!) header UI elements up on the top left all linked to the same url. I suggest you make that hubski logo a toggle switch. blank - few; n/s/w/e oragne - some; all lit up - many.

Wow. That's crazy. I do agree that the toggle is a bit abrasive. My plan was to eventually make it hidden, and slide down on a click. Using the logo is slick, but I'm afraid newbies would never find it. I get enough questions currently. :)

But I absolutely agree. Not pretty.

As for the 3 elements, we could lose 'my feed' and just make that the logo alone, -the home page.

I wouldn't [lose] anything.

    Hubski | * | my feed
Is precisely correct, imo. My feed is my feed. The toggling logo will allow me to cast a wider net. And you can put "all" under Hubski.

Easter egg hunting can be fun. As for newbies, well, consider it a very mild form of hazing for those who don't bother reading "about hubski".

Hm. I'm not entirely sold on it. I think you would have to click the logo repetitively to get through the options... It's definitely different. I do like Easter eggs.

I'm all for improving it. I just don't know if that's the way to go about it. Or if the logo is used in a functionality, that be the one... I am going to think on the logo though. We have a message system among a couple other things in the to do list.

I kind of like to put something up, use it, then clean it up in a way that feels appropriate to the use. thenewgreen is always pushing me to be less subtle. :)

Why not put a thoughtful quotes every week/month when hovering over the hubwheel?

I kinda like that.

I'm always in favor of utilizing the logo as a functional device. but that's just me.
