I don't have very good gear (I wish a had a tripod or something, the shaky shots really frustrate me) but I do what I can with what I have and honestly I'm proud of the video :) It's way better than some of my previous videos.
Thanks for watching, couldn't wait until the next Pubski to share it!
Thank you :)
It's a little hobby of mine but I rarely get the opportunity to film because you have to 1. Have a camera with you 2. Have something interesting to film This was the perfect opportunity to make a short clip but as always, I wish I had more footage. It's strange how in the moment you feel like you're constantly filming but once you get to editing you realize that about 10% of the stuff is usable and interesting. And then you trim that down too so the video doesn't get too boring. Glad you like it :)
That video turned out really great. I didn't notice shaky camera shots at all and I really enjoyed the music to this video. Also it was pretty cool to watch your graffiti to come to form.
That's the song I used for the video. I really like it too but unfortunately it's copyrighted :( It means that the add revenue that my video generates goes to the band. I don't like that not because I feel I'm cheated of the millions of dollars that this video will make but because now everybody I show it to will be annoyed by the advertisement in the beginning. I wish I could just pay youtube 1$ (which is waaay more than this video will ever make them) to remove the ad until the potential ad revenue surpasses that 1$ (which is never) to keep my video ad-free. Or maybe I should have uploaded it to Vimeo instead... I guess i'm the only one noticing the shaky shots :P I'm not bothered by slight camera movements but I really should pay a bit more attention next time and keep the camera a bit more stable.
I've been looking around and Kobra is a pain in the ass to get here but those lines are so crisp and nice. GhostEA uses them in his and they are excellent. I will make due with ironlak which will be a big step up after this rust o leum from wall mart. Your friends stuff is cool by the way.
Practice and good material I guess. What amazed me most was the time it took. I started filming him too, but 2 hours later, he was nowhere near finished his piece and we went home. Since I didn't have the full process, I didn<t include him in the video but I might still have the footage. I'll look into it :) Edit: Found it! I'll export it to youtube today.
