I've been drinking a lot of Unibroue beer lately. It's a big local brewery and their beers have been on sale this past month. My favorites from them are the white beer (Blanche de Chambly) and the Belgian Tripel (La Fin du Monde). It's nice beer: not too expensive for the quality because it's a pretty big brewery. Similar beers from smaller places are just way out of my budget.

I don't think I've ever heard anyone say "La Fin du Monde" and "not too expensive" in the same thought before. You must have some refined taste!

Dude, a case in Canada is like, $45.

It's on sale everywhere lately. I bought a 6 pack for edit: 9.99$ last week. Sure it's not cheap but definitely a good price for the quality. I was just saying that it's pretty cheap in regards to comparable stuff.

Must just be Montreal. Here in Michigan (where Canadian beers are usually sold as "domestics"), La Fin will never fail to sticker shock. It is wonderful. On that, we agree.

Just asked my boyfriend, I was wrong. It actually was 9,99$ :)

Definitely taking advantage of our Montreal prices.

Dieu De Ciel is also a really good QC brewery. I love Spice Route.

Unibroue is some good stuff. At Trader Joe's the seasonal vintage ale (and I think the golden ale too) are brewed by them. For $5 a pop it's a steal.
