Yum! Neighbor at my last place made us the best dumplings. He's from Hong Kong and he was by far the nicest guy I've ever known. I don't know what he put on them but I'm having serious withdrawals.
Damn, I've been on a cooking tear lately but I haven't really uh...taken a picture of it. BUT I did manage to stumble upon these German soft-gingerbread cookies that my grandmother used to have around the house at Christmas. I haven't had them since my childhood and pardon the over-the-top photo editing, but I think it's warranted to help convey just how awesome they are:

I made some REALLY good pasta, and took a picture to brag about it and a friend of mine pointed at how hipster it is to take a nice photo of your food for the night
