What feels like home to you. For me, my dog Harrison feels like home. He's what I see every time I enter our home. He is always there to greet me:

> before everything died Don't you live in an area that has a high risk of industrial fires, or something? I seem to recall that coming up in conversation a while ago.
Hah, industrial, no, but I had neighbor whose chlorine mixed with some algacide type pond cleaning chemical and they had a chemical fire in their house. That's where this pic came from that I've posted before. Cop car with my house in the background. That maple tree in my front yard went down in a storm this summer RIP.
5 months is a long time to be away from home. How are you doing? You homesick yet? Can you envision returning or are you at a point where you feel like your life is more suited to being abroad?
I don't really know how I'm doing, to be honest. Mixed feelings. Living abroad has been a great experience, but I still can't quite fathom that I'm halfway across the globe. On the one hand, living here has made me realize how arbitrary my concept of home is, that I'm much more independent than I thought. On the other hand there are important parts of myself that I feel like I cannot express anywhere but my 'real' home. I've had multiple moments of feeling homesick, but I don't want that feeling to limit me while I'm still here. I'm gonna try to make the most out of these last two weeks, but I also look forward to coming home. How are you doing?
That's a nice seen. I really dig cats but I'm extremely allergic to them. It's a bummer because it makes it almost impossible to visit friends/family that have cats and MANY of them do. My wife is also equally allergic, which was actually awesome to learn about when we were dating. Side question: What does your username come from? camarillobrillo.... what's that all about?
I'm sure Chiana would love you just as much as she loves me. So long as you have kitty food of course. Camarillo Brillo is one of my favorite Zappa songs
