But there has to be a reason they're such a beloved band, right? Iron Maiden is still huge outside the US. Are they still big in Brazil?
There are, indeed, those who don't listen to anything else. I was a BIG metalhead when younger. One of my first albums was Brave New World. Though I didn't listen only to Maiden, there was a time when I only listened to metal: Angra, Blind Guardian, Dream Evil, Stratovarius, Helloween, Gamma Ray, Accept. Mostly melodic and heavy, none of that black/dark/death metal stuff. To the non-initiated, it all probably sounded like this. (In an ironic way, I like this song. It's sounds like a parody.) I still listen to some kinda heavy stuff, mostly from the 70's, like Rainbow and Dio.
