Well, I mean, apparently this was a pretty benign proof of concept, right? This actually makes me think that it might be necessary to implement some kind of preview of the link we're going to be sent to when we click on a thread. I assume there are less harmless applications.
I was at the car repair shop yesterday, and the guy had a pizza on the counter. I was really hungry and looked at it too long, and then we exchanged looks that meant: I don't care about your pizza. Good, cause you aren't getting any. But I would have had a piece if he offered.
Here's a link to the Linkmoji site. edit: sorry, didn't realize how old this post was.
The developer just did a rundown on how he built it:
I seem to be missing something. What was the point of this? I'm really confused. So you created a unicode based domain with unicode based path that redirects to the logout screen? What did this accomplish and why is this badge worthy? Why even use unicode when you could use hubskina23.com or something?
For those who were as lost as me, I just ran into the "linkmoji" explanation/site. All I see is gibberish random unicode boxes, which is why I was confused. For the rest of you as confused as me, they are supposed to be emoji. I didn't realize this when I was posting.
