Great percussion
Thanks again for introducing me to Amon Tobin. I dug further in to his music and then eventually started checking out other acts on the Ninja Tune label that he is on. I really enjoy the sounds of "Bonobo". I posted one of his songs to Hubski here http://hubski.com/pub?id=38424 cool beats and melodies.
William Basinski - Disintegration Loops btw, if you don't know the story of The Disintegration Loop, then have a listen to this section of Radiolab about loops. It's a very beautiful idea because what you're listening to is the slow destruction of the sound on magnetic tape. The noise is literally being lost forever as you listen.
That Apparat reminds me a lot of Telefon Tel Aviv. If you don't have Farenheit Fair Enough then please do. Get Mum's Finally We Are No One. Ratatat's eponymous. Evax's Parking Lot Music. All that stuff is older though, but really solid. For newer electronic I would check out Flying Lotus's Los Angeles Ford and Lopatin's Channel Pressure Gang Gang Dance's Eye Contact Shigeto's Full Circle Washed Out's Within and Without SBTRKT's eponymous Pulseprogramming's Tulsa for One Second Actress's R.I.P. Com Truise's Glactic Melt Happy hunting :)
Enjoy.
