“Ron Paul’s movement is taking over the GOP from the grassroots up – with many local and state Republican Parties being staffed, and in many cases led, by Paul supporters,” Mr. Hunter writes. “Every last volunteer who spent time and effort working hard in their state conventions to secure delegates and the nomination for Ron Paul, can know that it is PRECISELY their efforts that are helping to transform the GOP of Bush into the Party of Paul.”
I think they would do well to focus on creating a more robust libertarian party and not trying to transform the GOP. -Not going to happen.

The last group to transform the GOP still has a firm hold on it. The Religious Right are not big fans of the "Paulists".

The question becomes, now what? What will the "Paulists" do with any sway they still have in the electorate?

Thats just it, I don't think anyone could possibly displace the hold they have on the GOP. Such is the power of religion. If you're not "for us", you're evil.

How evil of you to say so...

There are a lot of things I like about Paul... but some I don't. I suppose that is the case with most candidates. There has to be a better way.
