Shooting the teddy bear in the head was a nice touch. I agree with mk, I would have loved to be a part of this as a kid. There was an older kid in my neighborhood that would carve wooden guns and give them to all of us younger kids. We would paint them and then go out in the woods and play "war" with them. It's such a natural instinct for boys to play "war".
The contrast between the live footage and the animated stuff is really cool, and I've never seen this sort of stuff before. (I have to say, though, that the way the kids don't have blood on their clothes is kind of jarring.) It's also very strange to see such a violent video with kids in it...
It's like early John Woo, amazing. Whoever did this deserves a full length feature film.
