I will be watching largely because I think Ron Paul injects some refreshing candor into these debates even if the media has written him off as absolutely "unelectable" and therefore not worth a single breath or key stroke. -King makers... total horse sh_t!
I will also be watching to see if Bachmann, a candidate that is quickly loosing donors and momentum, acts like the wounded animal that she is, lashing out at all on stage. -My guess is that she wont if she has any dream of being a VP candidate on a ticket. -wonder if God has told her that it is okay to take a vp slot?
It should prove to be an entertaining night. If any of you have any thoughts on what might/does/or did transpire, I'd be interested to hear.
I don't care much about affairs, other baggage, etc. Yes, it influences me some, but it mostly depends on how hypocritical the candidate is about it. For that reason I lost a lot of respect for Gingrich over the whole Clinton impeachment. One thing I really look for in a President is vision. Not Ron Paul "let's change everything!" kind of vision, but, a certainty that things can be improved, a power of character, and the ability to use different tools to get things done. IMHO, Ron Paul just has a hammer in his tool chest. In this sense Romney seems the most capable. He seems to think about how to make things work. I wish he weren't such a chameleon, though. But Obama does that too. Perry really didn't impress me. Huntsman seems a reasonable choice for VP.
I don't watch TV, so I haven't heard half of these people actually speak. Based on their platforms, I'm pretty much just watching for entertainment. Maybe Romney and Perry will be buddies and one will be a VP candidate. I'm betting that Hillary will take Biden's VP slot.
