Yup, on August 14th my wife and I are moving to Valencia.
She got a job teaching at a Montessori school and I'll be pursuing a masters degree in Artistic Production from the Polytechnic University of Valencia.
My thesis will be an exploration of the Spanish colonization of the Americas and the impact that's had on my ability to connect with my indigenous ancestry.
There are no words for the excitement I feel to go live and Europe and get the flub out of the States.
We plan to have a guest room in our apartment, hit me up if you're ever traveling through!
About every three months I send out a newsletter with a comprehensive breakdown of what I've been creating, as well as other blob-thoughts.

BC, I’m excited for you. I love Spain. Last Christmas we spent two weeks in southern Spain, Madrid, Malaga and Sevilla. I loved Sevilla so much. I would live there. We heard so many great things about Valencia (the birth place of Paella.) What a great adventure you two are on. Godspeed! I may take you up on a meetup there. Be well!!!
Headed to the southern part sounds like such a divine trip! Any recommendations of experiences to have over there?
Yes! Spend time in Sevilla. Go see some flamenco. Dance! Go to Alhambra in Granada. Go to Ronda and hike the bridges and tour the bull fighting ring. Go to the ocean, visit Malaga at Christmas and see the lights and Africa in the distance. Go to La Mezquita in Cordoba and see the juxtaposition of Islam and Christianity at its starkest. I just like the vibe in Sevilla though. I could live there. One of my favorite cities for its energy. Singing in the streets, great food and seemingly happy people.
