I have a bucket book. My list is now too big for a single piece of paper. They include: Drink Vodka in Moscow, study Italian in Florence, sit on a jury, skydive, have my portrait painted, learn to Rollerblade, run a 10kms, shower in a waterfall, learn to play a musical instrument with some degree of skill, dazzle a crowd on the dance floor, sleep under the stars, hold an audition for a posse, survive a bar fight, teach someone illiterate to read, drive (or ride) the autobahn, test drive a top-end sports car, get my motorbike licence and use it, become a member of the mile high club (even if I have to do it alone), hike through a jungle armed with only a Machete, have a star named after me, save a life, spend a night in jail for a semi-cool reason, own a sword and know how to use it, learn to bar-tend, send a message in a bottle, make love on the kitchen floor, dye my hair electric blue or purple or green, then there are all the places I want to go........
Sleeping under the stars is a treat. It's pretty easy to accomplish too.
That is a formidable list! Question: Have you made any strides towards completing the items in your bucket book? A lot of people like to make goals but then never act upon them. Is your book getting shorter as you accomplish things? If so, what was one of your favorite things to cross of the bucket book?become a member of the mile high club (even if I have to do it alone)
-that had me laughing aloud at our breakfast table.
