I am going to study on a remote place, without gyms, and I was thinking to start doing bodyweight to keep fit, but a don't know any good rutines, and can't find any. Does some one knows of any good bodyweight guide, or has some tips for beginners ?
You might want to read You are your own gym or Overcoming Gravity. Also, reddit has a nice bodyweight fitness community. I haven't really started reading those books, but they were recommended to me. Good luck with staying fit and your studies.
I have never done any bodyweight training, except from push up and pull ups from my mma training, but p90x looks pretty good training. I will give it a try.
I love p90x. I started with power 90 and when I mastered those, I worked my way up. Don't get discouraged. It's tough but you feel good and super satisfied as you slowly make your way further and further through the workouts. I'm a girl (5'0, 110lbs) and I couldn't get through 5 minutes of p90x when I first started. Now I can get through almost the whole thing with a few long breaks!
About 2 1/2 years ago I did P90X because I saw that it was working for bgood79. I was in the best shape of my life, P90X is the real deal. That said, it was a bit too much for me to keep up with. If you do it, it will work and it will transform your body it's amazing. Good luck princecold
Thanks, I will need it, I have done bodyweight before, but never by myself, so it will be a really challenge.
