Hm. I think it might be interesting to have posts with less than two shares, or something to that effect. I really want to avoid a 'commons' effect. But if they are only sequential, there isn't competition between posts.

Still I'd even consider going so far as to allow a user keep their posts out of this pool.

I want to think on this.

I don't think there would be competition because we still have the user following feature. So does it really matter whether posts will 'compete' or not, if users still have followers who are likely to read and look at their posts?

This is when the any individual user's experience is heavily influenced by the majority of users. It's what makes places less interesting when they become popular.

Ah, yeah, understood. Well again, I think this won't be so much a problem because of Hubski's emphasis on following users and tags. Guess we'll see how things will turn out!
