It's bad enough that they now track media partner sites you visit while logged on and broadcast your listening and reading habits to others. Tracking you while you are off-site? :|

My fb days are numbered. The fact that you may have to use a seperate browser for the sake of privacy is ludicrist. They are over stepping some major boundaries. I would wager that mk's prediction that G+ will have taken the dominant share of fb's market share within 2 years seems appropriate. http://hubski.com/pub?id=2226
In 2 years they will be left with an aging group of soccer moms, everyone else will have abandoned ship.

I deleted (as much as you can, at least) my Facebook account about a year ago. I think the main reason it took me so long to go through with it was the fear that I would somehow miss out on events, or that many of my friends I don't have the opportunity to speak to daily would be upset. Looking back it seems silly, but the ability of Facebook to hold onto users through social pressure (either real, or imagined) is remarkable.

Thanks. It would have been interesting to sit in the meeting wherein the phrase frictionless sharing was thought up.
In other news, FB is forming a PAC: http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/technology/2011/09/facebook-...
